The Holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord's own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist.
At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood. This he did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until he should come again, and so to entrust to his beloved Spouse, the Church, a memorial of his death and resurrection: a sacrament of love, a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a Paschal banquet 'in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.' Catechism of the Catholic Church 1322 & 1323

In the Church's liturgy the divine blessing is fully revealed and communicated. The Father is acknowledged and adored as the source and the end of all the blessings of creation and salvation. In his Word who became incarnate, died, and rose for us, he fills us with his blessings. Through his Word, he pours into our hearts the Gift that contains all gifts, the Holy Spirit. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
In Eucharistic Adoration, we honor the Eucharistic Presence of Christ and contemplate the Mystery of Christ truly present before us. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for communion with Christ and the rest of the Church. During Eucharistic Adoration, we remain silent in Christ's Presence and open ourselves to His graces which flow from the Eucharist.
St. Rose of Lima has Eucharistic Adoration six days a week, beginning every Monday after the 8:30am mass and continuing 24 hours/day until the 5:00pm mass on Saturday. Eucharistic Adoration is held in the Adoration Chapel, located on the west side of the church, and all Catholics are invited to come and adore the Blessed Sacrament.
